Sandra Hale Owens

My sister Sandy was very special to me. When I was growing up, I loved to listen to music and Sandy ordered music from RCA. The albums would come in and I would spot them before she got home. Another friend of mine, Nancy and her sister Connie and I would open the album and listen to then before Sandy would get home. I then put the LP  back in the package. When Sandy got home, I would act innocent but she saw the opened package and would scold me saying  "I told you not to open my music!" But she would be smiling and I knew that everything was alright. I loved her very much and she would come over and stay with me for special occasions. She had planned on coning over for my birthday but the night before is when tragedy struck.

I have placed this page here in memory of my sister Sandy who passed away on
November 3rd, 2003.
I place it here to share my memories of her with you.
My Sandy is in Heaven with our Mother now, resting with the Angels and I hope she can look on this web page and know that I love her and miss her very much.

Video
Remembering Sandy
Before there were videos in funeral homes to remember the passing of a dear one who had departed
James made this video to remember my sisters life. While everyone was waiting around for the services
to begin, James started playing this on a Laptop that he had borrowed. When the video began and people
started noticing what was being displayed they grouped around it and it brought back memories to their
mind of the things that they and Sandy did in their past. James was able to put it on this site
for all of her friends and family to download and view. Please let us know what you think about this.
It was done in 2003 and still is precious to me and I really want it to be precious to you as well.
The email link is at the bottom of this page.
The music on this video were some of Sandy's favorite songs and were added by James because of that.

One More Day
by Diamond Rio

Last Night I Had A Crazy Dream
A Wish Was Granted Just For Me,
It Could Be For Anything
I Didnt Ask For Money
Or A Mansion In Malibu
I Simply Wished, For One More Day With You

CHORUS

ONE MORE DAY
ONE MORE TIME
ONE MORE SUNSET, MAYBE I'D BE SATISFIED
BUT THEN AGAIN
I KNOW WHAT IT WOULD DO
LEAVE ME WISHING STILL, FOR ONE MORE DAY WITH YOU

ONE MORE DAY

FIRST THING I'D DO, IS PRAY FOR TIME TO CRAWL
THEN I'D UNPLUG THE TELEPHONE
AND KEEP THE TV OFF
I'D HOLD YOU EVERY SECOND
SAY A MILLION I LOVE YOU'S
THAT'S WHAT I'D DO. WITH ONE MORE DAY WITH YOU

CHORUS

ONE MORE DAY
ONE MORE TIME
ONE MORE SUNSET, MAYBE I'D BE SATISFIED
BUT THEN AGAIN
I KNOW WHAT IT WOULD DO
LEAVE ME WISHING STILL, FOR ONE MORE DAY WITH YOU

ONE MORE DAY
ONE MORE TIME
ONE MORE SUNSET, MAYBE I'D BE SATISFIED
BUT THEN AGAIN
I KNOW WHAT IT WOULD DO

LEAVE ME WISHING STILL FOR ONE MORE DAY
LEAVE ME WISHING STILL FOR ONE MORE DAY
LEAVE ME WISHING STILL FOR ONE MORE DAY
With You...

One More Day...
