Wallace Brown Sr.

Wallace Fray Brown Sr., 53, of Chattanooga passed away Friday, April 27, 2001, in a local hospital.

He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a graduate of Chattanooga High School.

He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the First Calvary. He was a retired lieutenant from the Chattanooga Police Department with over 30 years of service and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

His wife, Anne Brown, preceded him in death.

He is survived by five children, Tammye Cook, Wallace Fray Brown Jr., Brad Brown, Brent Brown and Candace Conner; one brother, Dusty Brown, all of Chattanooga; four grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. today and from 3-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
