Raymond H. Young

Young, Raymond H., 49, of Sarasota Fla. died Monday, April 6, 1998.

A native of Chattanooga, he was an Army veteran, an employee of Mr. Florist in Sarasota, a member of Living Covenant Church in Chattanooga and former pastor of churches in Sylacuaga, Ala., and West Frankfort, Ill.

He was the son of the late Walter Young, Survivors include his wife, Becky Young; three daughters, Beth Freeman, Jamie and Amy Young, all of Cleveland, Tenn.; mother, Betty Young, Hixson; two sisters, Doris Rothwell, Red Bank, Kay Pickett, Hixson; two grandsons; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Michael Lindon and the Rev. Marshall Roberson officiating.

Burial will be in Sarasota.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. until the service at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
