Shirley Ann Hennessee

Shirley Hennessee Moore, 69, of Ooltewah, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

Shirley was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a graduate of Chattanooga High School and was retired from McKee Foods. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Shirley was an excellent friend and was the glue that held the family together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Aileen Hennessee and four siblings.

Surviving are her daughters, LeeAnn Smith and Diane (John) Tinsley; grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer and Joshua Ware, and Breanna, Alicia and Seth Tinsley; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda (David) Campbell, Wanda Graham and Jane (Mike) Clay; brothers, Ray Hennessee, Terrell (Nancy) Hennessee and Wayne (Gloria) Hennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a Celebration of Life from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, June 15, at the funeral home. The family has asked that this be a time when friends and relatives can come and share stories and memories in Shirley’s honor.
