Below is an updated Obituary published in the Chattanoogan.com April 12, 2005.
Arthur Dale Golden Sr., 57,
of Signal Mountain, died Monday morning, April 11, 2005, after a traffic
accident when he
crashed into a tree while
traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 127, according to a Tennessee Highway
Patrol dispatcher.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Maxine Barton Golden.
Arthur was a long haul truck driver, working 16 years with Camero Carpets and 11
years with Shaw Industries. Mr. Golden achieved the Safety Award every year for
safe driving with Shaw Industries.
He loved working on and restoring his �55 Chevy. Arthur was of the Church of God
faith.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Golden; sons, Arthur Dale Golden Jr. and Dustin
Dale Golden, both of Signal Mountain; daughters, Donnette Smith, of Signal
Mountain, Angie (Johnny) Youngblood, of Trion, Ga., and Krista (Allen) Frisbee,
Signal Mountain; and five grandchildren, Kayla Frisbee, Hayden Hicks, Zackery
Frisbee, Alex Smith and Kelsie Smith.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the
Rev. Harley Morrison officiating.
Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
