My Father Remembered Poem Page You are visitor number to this page.

When asked to put a few words down
about PaPaw for today,
The First thing I thought of
was how much he is missed.

I then began to think
about how he was always
described by others.

There were many to choose from.
Strong, Quiet, Stuborn, Stern,
Understanding, Sharp, An Outdoor Sportsman,
Loving, Proud, Just to name a few.
And if I thought I could get away with it,
I've heard MaMaw call him "An Old Poop"
Once or twice myself.

He would always be patient and
Loving with us grand kids,
And even more cercerned,
But never intentionally
in the middle of our lives.

I will always have
my own personal and special
memories with only him.

My heart weighs heavy now,
but in time God will take care of that.
Just knowing he will always be
remembered as a respected
and much loved man is a big start.

Below are some pictures of my Father, Herman James Hale
that I wanted to present to you. 

Daddy loved to work on cars and took every
opportunity to do so.

 
Daddy loved to be comfortable and anytime he
could he would wear his overalls.

Daddy was a good provider, there where many times
he would come home after working long hours and just
have to find a place to take a nap.

Daddy loved Ice Cream and took the opportunity to eat some
whenever he could.

Daddy also loved to fish and as you can see from
the above picture he was good at it.

Both In Word and Deed.

Right Living His Philosophy:
The Golden Rule His Creed.
From My Childhood To Womanhood,
He Played A Treasured Part.

In All The Tender Memories
That Are Living In My Heart.
