The halftime shows of football games are sparked by the presentation ot the Girl's Drill Squad. It is composed of one hundred and twenty-eight girls and twelve officers who begin practice on the first of August by marching three hours every day, until school starts. With the opening of school, they practice one period a day. During the summer, the officers attend a clinic under the direction of Mr. Cassavant.
The long tedious hours of practice are forgotten with the satisfaction of a half-time performance.
